  "Lee Ann Westover is best known as the lead singer of a string of cult bands based out of New York: The Lascivious Biddies, Strange Cargo, and the Camaros.

  "A gifted songwriter, Lee Ann's work has been featured in several films screened all over the world, including the Sundance, Venice and Tribeca Film festivals. "Famous," from The Lascivious Biddies' album Get Lucky, was honored in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition [in what year?]. In the early 2000's, she created a segment for the modern pop musical revue 8x10, which debuted at the famed New York Theatre Workshop (Rent, Bright Lights Big City) alongside work by Norah Jones and Jesse Harris. More recently, Lee Ann has taken her passion for music to the page, contributing regular reviews and feature articles to several New York papers, including The Villager and The Downtown Express.
